"Catskin" is where Grey Windowpane/GWPEOPLESFRONT WORLDWIDE began. Mazozma and Terry Stone were exchanging voice memos and samples from late 2021 through March 2022. Next thing you know, they morphed into "pieces" or shall we say, "songs" (gasp).

Mazozma and Terry didn't feel like bothering people, haggling with pressing plants, material footprint, and frankly, cobbling together funds to self-release hard copies.

So the two brought "Catskin" into the world via Mazozma's small Fruit Of The Spirit blog fruitofthespiritmagazine.blogspot.com

Once "Catskin" was up, the blog began "releasing digital albums" by other friends on the blog. Then came interviews and articles with other artists. Mazozma eventually did a book of illustrations called "OVOID WORLD" which was released by the new Fruit Of The Spirit" FOTS EDITIONS book press.

Fast forward to Autumn 2022, Grey Windowpane caved in and created a Bandcamp account to release the EP ("Two Bricks For Every Bag"). They then remixed said EP and called it"Dir'y Mixes For Dir'y Money". Grey Windowpane teamed up with b.leah cim, Turner Williams Jr., Vanessa Sinclair and others to record a full length to be released January 2023 on double cassette format via Strange Mono (Philly, US).

In September of this year, Grey Windowpane birthed GWPEOPLESFRONT WORLDWIDE. They claim that all their dealings (artistic, business and personal) run through this pipeline.

It seems they're getting serious.

GWPEOPLESFRONT, Grey Windowpane, FOTS Editions, Fruit Of The Spirit Blog, Brown, Terry Stone, Ken E., b.leah cim, A Few Different Types Of Dogs, etc.- these names don't have much of an audience...

but they will.

Smoke signals from one corner of the room to the other in hopes it will eventually cover the earth.

"Grey Windowpane's "Catskin" is a blob of bent backwards. Heavily reliant on the voice of Terry Stone with audial manipulation, mixing and engineering by Mazozma, this is the introduction of a new world created by two individuals who have zero worry about what anyone on the outside is looking for in their sound regiment. "Catskin" is atmosphere but not ambient. Astrological but not atmosphere. Fidelity be damned or is it high glass embodiment? Or I could be wrong and all of these aspects might exist within this 46 minute, six track recording. I am certain that neither one of these characters had any idea what they were doing and that is always a good thing in my book."
